Get a taste of the craft of timber framing with a small project which is big on learning. This two day workshop is a great starting point to learn timber framing basics. The skills covered focus on the use of layout, essential tools, sharpening and jigs; participants will also have the opportunity to use a variety of tools to cut mortise and tenon joinery. Sawhorses pack a lot of practice into a small footprint! The goal of course is that every student will go home with a fully assembled sawhorse and possibly another; it may be necessary to finish the second at home or arrange some extra time at the workshop.
